Combining vast experience of world tour riders with the latest fabric technologies and the technical sports apparel development experise of our designers, we have created the super fast AERO Collection.
Endless days spent testing in the wind tunnel, on the track and in the pro peloton, resulted in the discovery of the optimal balance between aerodynamics, breathability and comfort, and creation of the KC AERO Jersey.
The new woven AERO Fabric on the shoulders and side panels decreases the weight of the garment and attaches the air flow to your body while the proprietary pattern at the back of the jersey channels and accelerates the flow to maximise the aerodynamic gains. KC race fit construction minimises folding effect and thus further improves aerodynamics while two hidden zippered side-entry pockets provide ample storage space without impacting the overall performance.
To complement the superior speed, front and back panels of the AERO Jersey have been created from 4-way stretch fabric to ensure long lasting comfort and allow unrestricted breathing while superlight mesh panels under the arms featuring 37.5® technology increase breathability and help to regulate your body temperature.
During cycling, as an athlete goes over the speed of 25km/h, the aerodynamic drag (air resistance) becomes exponentially the most significant force working against the rider.
Aerodynamic drag is the product of the turbulent wake that an athlete creates as he or she attempts to displace air in order to move forward. Drag acts in the opposite direction vs an object in motion.
Studies show that about 80% of resistance is caused by the rider (bike counts for just 20%), so reducing athlete‚¬„¢s drag is our number one priority.
Aerodynamic drag increases with speed and should be proportional to the square of speed: if you double the speed from 25 km/ to 50 km/h, the drag quadruples and so does the power required by the athlete to push on the pedals.
Reduction of the athlete‚¬„¢s drag has become our number one priority. If a 5% drag reduction of a wheelset could result into a 10 watts saving... a 5% dag reduction of the rider could potentially turn into a 60 watts saving... that is a huge difference!
Optimising rider's position on the bike will be of the greatest aero benefit, but clothing can make a significant difference in the amount of drag reduction. Aero optimised clothing has got to be tight fitting and feature a specific fabric structure which helps to reduce the volume of the turbulent area behind the rider.
37.5 Thermoregulation Technology
The 37.5 Thermoregulation Technology helps to maintain your body at the ideal core temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius and keep the micro-climate next to your skin at the ideal relative humidity of 37.5%. It's scientifically proven to increase stamina by reducing the amount of energy used to manage core temperature and improve efficiency so you use less energy to do the same amount of work.
It triggers off of humidity which is the gauge of whether you're hot or cold. When you're hot, the active volcanic sand particles embedded into the material use your body's energy to remove moisture and cool you down. When you're cold, the active particles retain body's energy to warm you up.
37.5 particles also trap odour molecules and then release them when they're washed and dried. Also, because those particles are permanently embedded in the fibre, they will last the lifetime of the garment.

Size Chart & Fit
Second Skin Design based on the cut preferred by Pro Riders optimises aerodynamics and ergonomics in an aggressive riding position. Featuring tight fitting high-stretch fabric to wrap closely around the rider's body and minimise flapping in the wind effect, and a shorter cut at the front to eliminate folding when in a racing position, the KC RACE Fit is focused on performance cycling.
Sizing recommendation: If you prefer a less compressive fit, many of our customers would recommend choosing one size larger than normal.
